Baseball Hall of Fame, you confuse me.
Okay, let me get this straight. Bagwell does not deserve induction because he was a big guy in a time when many players used steroids. Not in the Mitchell Report. No positive tests. Blyleven was an ornery prick who complained every year about being ignored but who was a notorious asshole and who quit on his team and behaved like a child and never dominated and who like Don Sutton, was consistently...

According to this weeks Advertising Age, agencies charged clients $964 an hour for top creative talent. Seemingly, super inflated billing rates at big ole’ agencies are the last bastion of traditional agency relationships.

Thanks to Ed Hardy for saving me time.
It used to take me seconds to discover someone was a raving asshole but now, thanks to ed hardy, if I see someone wearing an Audiger tee, I immediately know he/she is an asshole. Thanks again.
i suck at updating this.

RIP John Hughes
Was not a huge fan of his later work, but if you aren’t a fan of sixteen candles, breakfast club, ferris, the vacation movies and planes, trains and automobiles, fuck off. He was an underrated writer and no one captured the tone of a generation better. He also understood the power of a soundtrack like few. If you think Garden State was the first movie of it’s kind, punch yourself in...

Why not a small agency?
I have worked at big agencies, mid sized and small. i really don’t understand the advantages of many client working with large agencies. You are often paying for their overhead and the further an assignment strays from a big agencies core competencies, the more likely they are to simply hire someone like us and mark up the costs.

Economy sucks. Business is down. Kids still ask for things. Constantly. How much do you concern them with?

Thank the lord.

– This is what the kids on the basketball team told me last night. Why do they know this, do they know what that means. What is this world coming to.
Friends We've Lost: New York Mets
Sorry guys, not watching. Insane VP of players, ineffectual GM, comedian for a manager, though it’s hard to blame him — laugh or you’ll cry. Broke ownership (relatively speaking, anyway).
David Wright may be more talented than Ray Knight, but I’ll take Ray Thanks. Ditto Lenny over Carlos Beltran. For chrissakes, ditto Rafael Santana over Reyes. Madoff $ issues aside, I just...

Friends we've lost: Raf Simons
Once known for his hell bent on anarchy and youth designs, razor-sharp tailoring and doing black better than most, Raf Simons has saved me thousands of dollars over his last 3 seasons with poorly constructed stuff that feels like a perpetual cruise collection. Thanks Raf. 1998-2008.
How to make the nearly perfect cup of coffee.
Go to a local starbucks. Ask for an iced grande. wait 20 minutes while the staff acts as if they only do the register. wait 7 more minutes for barista to make several far more complicated drinks first. tell me the coffee you get isn’t the best you’ve ever had. I dare you.

Porting over some recipes from my other blog....
There is nothing more boring than a chicken breast. It is the James Joyce of the food world. This is a recipe that makes it more tolerable.

1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes
1/4 cup roasted red pepper
